This recipe is simple, easy, contains minimal ingredients and is free of most food allergens.
💠 INGREDIENTS: 💠
▪️1/2 cup Sunbutter @sunbutter (**Note: Sunbutter is a sunflower seed butter, BUT, this specific brand is made in a facility that doesn’t process other nuts or peanuts. That’s the only way I can eat this seed butter with my allergies ☺**) **Also, feel free to use any other nut butter you want if you don’t have nut allergies!**
▪️1/2 cup quick cooking gluten-free oats
▪️1 TBSP flax egg (To make a flax egg replacement, mix: 1 Tbsp of ground flax with 3 TBSP of hot water. Stir. Let it sit for 15 mins. It becomes thicker like egg consistency)
▪️1 tsp vanilla extract
▪️1/4 tsp cinnamon
▪️1/8 tsp nutmeg
▪️2 TBSP agave nectar
💠 METHOD: 💠
Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl. Then add the dry ingredients. Mix well until all ingredients are combined together and dough starts to ball up. Roll into small balls and place on baking sheet (You should get 8 cookies). Flatten with a fork. Top with dried cranberries or any other dried fruit (optional).
Bake at 350°F for 8 – 10 mins.
Enjoy Folks! ✌️😄 🌺
